As a needle of rope is worked in and out of the hammock body, a symmetric pattern is created that lends a touch of art to the unique and interesting craft. It supports 450 pounds of weight capacity and comes complete with superior constructed hardware. The heavy-duty zinc chromate hardware resists rust. Two inch diameter ring and welded chain ensures safety. Zinc plated hook and eyebolt assembly is added for protection to prevent stress on point of insertion.

The Pawleys Island Handwoven Cotton Rope Hammock features custom designed stretcher bars cut from seasoned hardwood, then steamed, bent, drilled, sanded, and varnished, all to impart a comfortable sway to the hammock and to spread the rope evenly for optimum stability.
